Bernd Bös­herz is a foun­ding part­ner of Bös­herz Goe­bel Patent­an­wäl­te, a gra­dua­te engi­neer in elec­tri­cal engi­nee­ring with a focus on com­mu­ni­ca­ti­ons tech­no­lo­gy, and has more than 15 years of expe­ri­ence in intellec­tu­al pro­per­ty. As an IP Mana­ger at a major tele­com­mu­ni­ca­ti­ons com­pa­ny, he spe­cia­li­zed in patent port­fo­lio manage­ment and employee inven­ti­on law.

His work focu­ses on stra­te­gic IP con­sul­ting. With his tech­ni­cal back­ground and prac­ti­cal expe­ri­ence as an IP Mana­ger, he under­stands not only the legal but also the busi­ness aspects of patent pro­tec­tion. This dual per­spec­ti­ve enables him to deve­lop tail­o­red IP stra­te­gies that are both legal­ly sound and eco­no­mic­al­ly via­ble.

Sebas­ti­an Goe­bel is a foun­ding part­ner of Bös­herz Goe­bel Patent­an­wäl­te and has been acti­ve in the field of intellec­tu­al pro­per­ty sin­ce 2013. He holds degrees in elec­tri­cal and infor­ma­ti­on engi­nee­ring as well as laser and pho­to­nics. His tech­ni­cal spe­cia­liza­ti­on includes the pro­tec­tion of AI tech­no­lo­gies and software—one of the most dyna­mic and legal­ly chal­len­ging are­as of modern patent law.

As a Euro­pean Patent Att­or­ney and Euro­pean Patent Liti­ga­tor, he has exten­si­ve expe­ri­ence in the fil­ing, defen­se, and enforce­ment of patents, as well as in the stra­te­gic con­sul­ting on IP rights in the digi­tal sphe­re.

Sebas­ti­an Goe­bel works with par­ti­cu­lar pas­si­on at the inter­face bet­ween tech­no­lo­gy and law, as well as across dif­fe­rent tech­ni­cal fields. Micha­el Wan­nek is a Euro­pean Patent Att­or­ney and thus a qua­li­fied repre­sen­ta­ti­ve befo­re the Euro­pean Patent Office. In addi­ti­on to his expe­ri­ence in the field of com­pu­ter sci­ence, he has a tech­ni­cal back­ground in sys­tems engi­nee­ring and bio­me­di­cal engi­nee­ring. This pro­vi­des him with in-depth exper­ti­se at the inter­face bet­ween tech­no­lo­gy and inno­va­ti­on.

Sin­ce 2021, he has been acti­ve in the field of intellec­tu­al pro­per­ty, whe­re he has gai­ned exten­si­ve expe­ri­ence in draf­ting and enfor­cing tech­ni­cal intellec­tu­al pro­per­ty rights. As a Euro­pean Patent Att­or­ney, his focus lies on buil­ding IP port­fo­li­os and pro­vi­ding stra­te­gic repre­sen­ta­ti­on in oppo­si­ti­on pro­cee­dings.

He brings par­ti­cu­lar exper­ti­se in the fields of medi­cal tech­no­lo­gy, elec­tri­cal engi­nee­ring, com­pu­ter sci­ence, and arti­fi­ci­al intel­li­gence.

Dr. Samu­el Königs­ho­fen

M.Sc. | German and European Patent Attorney

Dr. Samu­el Königs­ho­fen stu­di­ed phy­sics, has been acti­ve in the field of intellec­tu­al pro­per­ty sin­ce 2019, and joi­n­ed the team of Bös­herz Goe­bel Patent­an­wäl­te in 2025. His main are­as of prac­ti­ce include the auto­mo­ti­ve indus­try, mecha­ni­cal and plant engi­nee­ring, elec­tri­cal engi­nee­ring, mecha­nics, and mate­ri­als sci­ence. In addi­ti­on, Dr. Königs­ho­fen has exten­si­ve expe­ri­ence in trade­mark and design law.

Through his years of pro­fes­sio­nal expe­ri­ence and trai­ning at a Düs­sel­dorf law firm, he gai­ned broad exper­ti­se in all are­as of intellec­tu­al pro­per­ty. A par­ti­cu­lar focus of his work is the fil­ing and defen­se of natio­nal and inter­na­tio­nal patents and uti­li­ty models.

Dr. Königs­ho­fen stu­di­ed phy­sics at Hein­rich Hei­ne Uni­ver­si­ty Düs­sel­dorf, spe­cia­li­zing in laser/​plasma inter­ac­tion and solid-sta­te phy­sics. As a doc­to­ral rese­ar­cher at the renow­ned For­schungs­zen­trum Jülich, he con­duc­ted rese­arch on the inter­ac­tion bet­ween orga­nic mole­cu­les and magne­tic thin-film sys­tems. He recei­ved his PhD under the Jülich Model at the Insti­tu­te of Phy­sics of the Uni­ver­si­ty of Colo­gne.

Dr. Königs­ho­fen is a Ger­man Patent Att­or­ney, a Euro­pean Patent Att­or­ney, and a qua­li­fied repre­sen­ta­ti­ve befo­re the EUIPO. With his solid sci­en­ti­fic back­ground and exten­si­ve prac­ti­cal expe­ri­ence, he advi­ses cli­ents on stra­te­gic aspects of patent pro­tec­tion and ensu­res that their inno­va­tions recei­ve opti­mal legal pro­tec­tion.
